A Classic VESPA RESTORATION

Well Darren has finished his project and has ended up with a truly beautiful little Spanish beauty. With help on the way from many friends, he has brought this Vespa back to its former glory in his shed/house during lockdown. Here darren briefly describes his project with some more photos of the restoration and of course the results, which I think all will agree he has done a splendid job!

A Classic VESPA RESTORATION

This is my resto project hoping to get on the road for next summer.

Pictures of when I bought it and during resto looks really sad but very close to being primed. I would have been lost without  done side panels and busy with tool box.the help from Terrance.


I've always wanted a GT 160. The only problem  will be the engine rebuild which is a 2 port or maybe putting a newer engine in its place?


Any tips and hints and advice would be great thanks.
